Message from the Director General
"Five Dimensions" comes along with a key trend-close ideology, concluding that it is the time to assess an era experiencing information technology dominance over knowledge content and corporate business, though originally brought to light to serve both.
The last three decades were dominated by a wave of technological mania to the extent that laser CDs have been regarded as the fourth greatest invention mankind has ever had, after agriculture, fire and alphabet.
IT enterprises attempted to capitalize on this technological mania and the position of those operating in information sector has become similar to that of an English teacher of great influence in Arabic schools, where non-IT staff has such condition of Arabic teacher in these schools.
After three or four decades of IT dominance, I am of the opinion that there is a decline in such technological mania disposition as the focus on IT has positively retreated to the advantage of knowledge content and corporate business. Remarkably, such trend is supported by IT staff themselves.
One day, information technology will queue up and adhere to its non-marginalized vital role and dominance will be that of knowledge content as a main corporate and enterprise business resource.
Within Five Dimensions, information technology stands as a main dimension that serves our customer business and asserts the quality value of their knowledge.
